Working With Disconnected Mailbox Exchange 2013

A mailbox gets disconnected when it is no longer associated with an account in Active Directory (AD). By default, the time for retaining the disconnected mailbox is 30 days. After the time period is over the mailbox will purged from the system. What is ESEUtil ?

The Exchange Server Database Utility (ESEUtil.exe) is a command-line tool which can be used for repairing, viewing, and modifying an Exchange database. In the past, ESEUtil could be used to work only with mailbox and public folder databases. To perform most of the operations that it performs, ESEUtil will create a new temporary database and write all the fixed information to that new database.
